Indiana Arts Commission Award Design and Production for the 2026 Indiana Governor’s Arts Awards
- Who Can Apply: Individual artists and creative teams currently residing in Indiana may apply. Artists must be at least 18 years old and complete a clearance check confirming good standing with the State of Indiana.
- The Focus: Design and produce seven custom artworks for the 2026 Indiana Governor’s Arts Awards, each including the award text, with delivery required by 5 February 2027.
- Compensation: The total project budget is up to $7,000 and includes research, consultation, materials, fabrication, design, shipping, insurance, photography and documentation.
- Key Requirements: Email a letter of interest and artist statement confirming availability, up to 10 images with title, medium, dimensions, budget, year and description, and an itemised proposed budget. Links to previous work and design ideas are optional.

Application notesEmail cbrahm@iac.in.gov with a letter of interest and artist statement addressing availability and suitability; up to 10 images of original completed artworks, each with title, medium, dimensions, project budget, year completed and description; and a proposed budget giving an expense description and dollar amount for each item. Previous-work links are optional; mockups or designs are not required. RFQ: https://www.in.gov/arts/files/IAC_GAA-2026-RFQ.pdf. Selection notification is due by 18 November 2026. The selected artist/team attends a virtual meeting, obtains final design approval and passes the State clearance check. Deliver seven awards to IAC, 100 N Senate Ave. N505, Indianapolis, IN 46204 by 5 February 2027 and email high-resolution photographs. The schedule table has inconsistent delivery years; section 2.3 specifies 2027.
