Who Can Apply: Professional Indigenous artists (First Nations Status or Non-Status, Métis, or Inuit) and Traditional Knowledge Keepers/Elders working in any art form who are Saskatchewan residents, plus small groups and collectives of Saskatchewan Indigenous artists.
The Focus: Supports the development and continuation of Indigenous Peoples' art forms in Saskatchewan through three project grant streams: Basic, Intermediate, and Major.
The Funding: Grants of up to $2,000 (Basic), $7,500 (Intermediate), or $18,000 (Major), with the specific amount depending on the stream and project budget.
Key Requirements: Complete the online application with applicant and Indigenous community connection details, grant request and project dates, art form, and a 25-word brief project description; provide cultural connections/artistic work and a project plan (500 words or less each); include budget details (200-word description for Basic, balanced revenue/expense budget for Intermediate/Major); upload support materials/work samples and sign the declaration. Collective/collaborative members must submit signed Artist Information and Declaration Forms.

Application notesGuidelines documents are subject to revision up to six weeks before the submission deadline. Applications should be submitted in English; applicants whose primary language is not English can receive translator support through SK Arts' Accessibility Fund.
