INHABIT – Artist-in-Residence Program 2027
Travel coveredHousing: University guest apartment arranged; rent is paid by the fellow from the €10,000 fellowship.
- Who Can Apply: Artists working in performing arts and music who seek interdisciplinary exchange with scientific research; international applicants are eligible.
- The Focus: Four months developing a new or existing artistic project in dialogue with researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Empirical Aesthetics.
- The Funding: €10,000 total fellowship (€2,500 per month); travel to and from Frankfurt, local public transport, and project-dependent production costs are covered. The fellow pays rent for an arranged university guest apartment from the fellowship.
- Key Requirements: CV; artist statement (maximum 500 words); project description connecting the work to the institute (maximum 500 words); portfolio (maximum 20 pages).
