Creative Australia International Engagement Fund
- Who Can Apply: Australian artists and creative workers; individuals must be Australian citizens or permanent residents; groups, organisations and small businesses may apply; international organisations may apply only for projects benefiting practicing Australian artists/creative workers or Australian audiences. Contemporary music workers/projects are not eligible.
- The Focus: Reciprocal international exchange activities with confirmed international partners, including creative collaboration and development, cultural exchange and knowledge sharing, labs and practice-exchange models.
- The Funding: Funding of any amount between $5,000 and $30,000 AUD.
- Key Requirements: Complete the Creative Australia application form with project title, summary, applicant description, project outline, timetable/itinerary, intended outcomes, and projected budget. Submit support material via up to 3 URLs (max 10 minutes of video/audio, 10 images, 10 pages of written material), bios/CV as a single document of up to 2 A4 pages, and up to 5 letters of support (each max 1 A4 page). Applicants must be registered in Creative Australia's application management system at least two business days before the deadline.

Application notesTo apply you must be registered in Creative Australia's application management system a minimum of two business days prior to the closing date. Only one application can be made to this category per closing date; you cannot apply for the same activity to the 1 September 2026 Arts Projects round. Do not submit support material by post. If you need to update a submitted application, allow a minimum of 2 business days before the closing date and contact international@creative.gov.au. Notification January 2027; next closing date Tuesday 16 March 2027, 3pm AEST.
