La Napoule Canadian Artist Residency
Housing: Private room with bathroom in Villa Marguerite; linen service weekly; access to shared kitchen, washing machine, dryer, clothesline; wireless internet in common areas
- Who Can Apply: Canadian citizens and permanent residents over age 18 of any artistic discipline; must communicate effectively in English or French
- The Focus: One-month studio-based residency in a castle in southern France to practice art, build community with other artists, and strengthen intercultural connection between Canada and France
- The Funding: $2,000 artist stipend plus $500 travel/material stipend; room, board, studio space, breakfast and dinner Monday–Friday included; no residency fees
- Key Requirements: SlideRoom application with artist statement, work samples, project description, and evidence of professional-level practice; application fee $30 USD (waivers available)

Application notesTwo places are reserved for Canadian artists within the Spring 2027 International Artist Residency. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and able to communicate effectively in English or French. Fee waivers are available for applicants who meet the published financial-barrier criteria.
