LARAC Community Art Grant: Individual Artist
- Who Can Apply: Artists 18+ whose primary residence is in Warren or Washington County, NY, applying under their own name (2026 Individual Artist grantees, LARAC board/staff and student projects are ineligible)
- The Focus: Creation of a new, artist-initiated body of work in 2027 that reflects or engages Warren or Washington County communities, with a public component in the artist's home county
- The Funding: The artist receives a grant of either $2,500 or $5,000
- Key Requirements: Attend a free LARAC seminar (last one: November 16, 2026 on Zoom) or meet the grant coordinator, then submit the online JotForm by 4pm November 23, 2026 with a resume, proof of primary residence, 5–8 JPEG images (or up to 6 minutes of performance / 8 pages of writing), a budget and budget narrative; optional draft review if emailed by November 2, 2026

Application notesAll 2027 applicants must attend one free application seminar (remaining date: Monday November 16, 4pm on Zoom; RSVP outreach@larac.org) or schedule a meeting with the grant coordinator before applying. Required uploads: resume, proof of primary residence (e.g. driver's license, voter registration, tax bill), work samples (visual: 5–8 JPEG images with title, medium, dimensions, date), budget and budget narrative. Drafts emailed by November 2, 2026 receive coordinator feedback. Grantees must include a public component (artist talk, reading, class or exhibition). Late or emailed applications will not be reviewed. Notifications usually early March.
