Manitoba Arts Council Travel/Professional Development Grant
- Who Can Apply: Professional artists, arts/cultural professionals, and Indigenous Knowledge Keepers who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents with a permanent address in Manitoba and at least one full year of Manitoba residency.
- The Focus: Professional development activities in all disciplines: workshops, specialized training, mentorships, public readings, and presentations.
- The Funding: Up to $1,000 CAD for direct project costs; notification within two months after the deadline.
- Key Requirements: Register and validate a Manipogo profile at least 5 business days before applying; provide background (max 350 words), project description (max 500 words), cultural integrity statement (max 300 words), optional additional information (max 300 words), confirmation of participation (acceptance, invitation or registration), a balanced budget, and collaborator details if applicable. The activity must begin after the deadline.

Application notesApplications are submitted through Manipogo, MAC's online application system, before 11:59 pm CT on the deadline date. Register and submit your profile for validation at least 5 business days before you want to apply. The funded activity must begin after the application deadline. Results are sent within two months of the deadline. Applicants who are D/deaf, living with a disability, or have limited internet access may apply using printable or fillable PDF forms.
