Municipality of Bergen (North Holland) Innovative and Art Projects Grant (Subsidieregeling innovatie en kunst(zinnige) projecten gemeente Bergen 2021)
- Who Can Apply: (Professional) makers, cultural organisations, foundations and associations with an innovative, low-threshold and generally accessible art project that takes place in the municipality of Bergen (North Holland)
- The Focus: One-off grants for innovative and artistic projects in Bergen that raise the artistic quality of the local cultural sector, with emphasis on making art rather than only exhibiting it; not for standalone reproductions or publications
- The Funding: The artist receives a one-off grant of up to €2,000 per project; an annual budget ceiling applies and complete applications are funded in order of receipt
- Key Requirements: Apply year-round, at least eight weeks before the project starts, with the municipality's one-off subsidy form, an activity plan and a budget with funding plan; send it to info@bergen-nh.nl or by post to the Subsidieloket. The municipality decides within six weeks

Application notesApplications are accepted all year but must be submitted at least eight weeks before the project starts. Use the 'eenmalig subsidie aanvragen' form (tick 'Subsidieregeling Innovatie en kunst(zinnige) projecten gemeente Bergen 2021'), attach an activity plan and a budget with funding plan (plus a de minimis statement if applicable; first-time applicants also send statutes/founding deed, latest annual accounts and annual report), and send it to info@bergen-nh.nl or Gemeente Bergen N.H., Subsidieloket, Postbus 175, 1860 AD Bergen. The municipality decides within six weeks of a complete application; complete applications are funded in order of receipt until the annual ceiling is reached (same-day applications ranked by lot). Costs made before the application are not eligible.
