  • Who Can Apply: Emerging visual artists living in the five boroughs of New York City with 2–10 years of experience generating new artistic works outside of a degree-granting program, who have not had solo exhibitions at established commercial galleries or museums or received major grants.
  • The Focus: Supporting emerging artists' first institutional solo museum exhibitions and artistic development through mentorship and curatorial collaboration.
  • The Funding: $20,000 per fellow, paid in two installments, covering artist fee, materials, and production costs.
  • Key Requirements: Portfolio/work samples, artist statement, proposed project description, CV/résumé, list of proposed mentors (established local artists), and completion of the application form via Submittable.
