Lendhafen Open Call 2027: Urban Ecologies (Klagenfurt)

- Who Can Apply: Artists, designers, architects, performers, theorists and interdisciplinary practitioners, as individuals or collectives, based in Austria or abroad.
- The Focus: Site-specific projects realised at Klagenfurt's Lendhafen (June to end of September 2027) exploring urban ecologies: coexistence, control, conflict and mutual dependence in public space.
- Compensation: Per selected project: artist's fee up to EUR 2,500 gross (per project, regardless of number of collaborators), plus a separate production budget up to EUR 4,000 gross and travel expenses up to EUR 1,000.
- Key Requirements: Email one PDF (max 15 MB) to office@lendhauer.org with subject 'Open Call 2027', containing a project proposal (max 3 A4 pages), a preliminary production cost estimate, a short bio/CV, and a portfolio (max 10 pages).

PayPer selected project: artist's fee up to EUR 2,500 gross (awarded per project regardless of the number of participating artists). Separately, a production budget up to EUR 4,000 gross (materials/technical; exact amount depends on project scope) and travel expenses up to EUR 1,000 are provided; the fee is not all-inclusive.

Lendhauer supports selected artists with technical and organisational coordination on site and with obtaining necessary permits. All applicants are informed of the outcome by the end of December 2026.
