Housing: Self-managed accommodations in Château de Kerminy with approximately fifteen rooms, shared kitchens, and workspaces
  • Who Can Apply: Adults who are professional or semi-professional artists, writers, researchers, students, and other autonomous practitioners; children and animals cannot be accommodated
  • The Focus: Self-directed work, research, experimentation, and reflection in a shared rural environment, with no required production or public presentation
  • Cost: Accommodation and shared workspaces are provided for a €20 daily contribution plus €12 annual membership. No stipend or travel funding is provided; limited case-by-case KAF support may be requested.
  • Key Requirements: Email open@kerminy.org with exact or alternative dates, number of people and bed needs, and type of stay; no portfolio or detailed project proposal is required

Application notesThe site is not ideal for young children due to the nature of the spaces (17th-century château is wooden and resonant) and ongoing artistic activities. Residency is closed in January and February. Artists participate in cleaning and maintenance as part of the self-managed model. For additional technical needs, artists are encouraged to bring specialized equipment or collaborate with permanent artists on-site.
