Housing: Private bedroom in shared housing facility on campus; ADA compliant options available
- Who Can Apply: Visual artists, curators, or arts and culture writers; must be 18+, non-Pittsburgh residents at time of application, and available to live in Pittsburgh for the full residency duration
- The Focus: Collaborative arts experience fostering cross-disciplinary dialogue through education, study, and structured contemplation; immersion in Pittsburgh's creative communities
- The Funding: $2,000 living-expense stipend and free furnished housing; residents are responsible for travel to and from Pittsburgh; no residency fee
- Key Requirements: Application form; identify a primary practice field (visual art, curation, or writing); comply with the current application-fee window

Application notesApplications are free September 1–28, 2026; applications submitted September 29–October 15, 2026 require a $20 fee. Applicants must be available to live in Pittsburgh for the full residency. Residents receive free furnished housing and a $2,000 living-expense stipend, but are responsible for travel to and from Pittsburgh. Applicants working across multiple practices must identify one primary field.
