Prince Edward County Wanderings: Delhi Park Entryway Public Art Request for Proposals
- Who Can Apply: Artists and artist teams working in any medium who have experience designing and creating public artworks. No residency restriction; among equally strong applications, Prince Edward County residents and then Bay of Quinte residents are prioritized.
- The Focus: The first entryway artwork in the "Wanderings" series for Delhi Park in Picton, sited at the Mary Street parking-lot entrance; it should respond to the site's history (former school and landfill), natural heritage, walking and community uses, with no digging allowed.
- Compensation: The selected artist or team receives a $25,000 (CAD) all-inclusive commission budget (artist fee, fabrication, materials, insurance, HST, permits, travel and installation), paid as a 50% deposit and the balance on completion.
- Key Requirements: Apply via the online application form (Jotform) by December 15, 2026 at 5 p.m.: artist CV (max 3 pages), letter of intent (max 500 words) outlining your public art practice and a brief concept including materials and how the piece will be secured, up to 5 portfolio images of previous public artworks, and an image list (file name, title, date, medium, size).
