Application notesSubmit through SmartyGrants. Include a project summary (maximum 300 words), project detail/rationale (maximum 1000 words), a biography (maximum 300 words) or CV for each artist/creative, and the project-plan table covering stages, dates, locations, participants and outcomes. Upload up to five support letters and confirmations from collaborators, venues and partners. Complete the balanced consolidated budget and upload detailed budget notes, major-expense quotes, calculations, confirmed support, notification dates for pending funds and a contingency for significant unconfirmed income. The How to Apply Guide also requests risk and evaluation responses (maximum 300 words each), relevant protocols, copyright/IP arrangements, and diversity/employment information. Individuals: up to 10 images in PowerPoint and/or up to 2 video/audio/moving-image URLs; groups/organisations: up to 20 images and/or up to 3 URLs. Supply an image list with dates and descriptions; written samples must be PDF/Word, maximum 10 pages. URLs must link directly to samples and include passwords if needed. The guidelines recommend 10 minutes of video/audio with 3–5-minute highlights; if URLs cannot be supplied, use QuickTime/Windows Media video or MP3/Windows Media audio within the 10 MB total application-upload limit. The portal gives a generic 25 MB per-file maximum, which does not replace the funder’s 10 MB total limit. An ABN or auspice is needed to receive funding. Funded activity must start on or after 7 May 2027. Late applications and late support material are not accepted; confirmation letters can be accepted later by arrangement with a grants officer. The linked September 2026 form is closed; the February 2027 form/preview is not yet available. Return to the official program page when the round opens on 16 December 2026.
