Residency Program “Body Time Space” at Radialsystem in 2027

- Who Can Apply: Professional dance artists and choreographers living and working in Berlin; students enrolled in a university dance/choreography department when the residency starts are not eligible.
- The Focus: A residency for early-stage experimentation to develop and deepen an existing artistic focus in a protected, transdisciplinary environment.
- The Funding: €2,000 scholarship per participating artist, plus technical, dramaturgical, production and press support.
- Key Requirements: Email a single PDF containing a motivation letter (max. 2,500 characters incl. spaces, with a specific residency question, desired number of participants, and two possible dialogue partners), a CV (max. 1 DIN A4 page), and documentation of up to three previous creations with video links if available.

StipendA scholarship of €2,000 for each artist involved in the residency. A total of 9 scholarships will be distributed between the two selected residencies.

Application notesApplications must be emailed in English or German as a single PDF by Monday, October 12th, 2026 at 23:59 (Berlin time) to residenz@radialsystem.de. Dialogue partners may be artists/practitioners from other fields (e.g. science, music, activism). Language skills are not evaluated and online translation tools are welcome. Preference is given to artists who have not received public funding from the city of Berlin for productions in 2027 and who have not yet appeared in Radialsystem's program; artists representing underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply.
