Culture Resource (Al Mawred) Stand for Art

- Who Can Apply: Artists and cultural actors who originate from an Arab country, regardless of ethnicity, citizenship, or current residence, and who face a tangible, verifiable threat because of their artistic or cultural expression or an unsafe environment.
- The Focus: Emergency safety support for at-risk artists and cultural actors in the Arab region, combining financial relief with safe-haven referrals.
- The Funding: Emergency fund with no preset amount, covering living expenses (up to six months), travel, legal support, and health care; plus non-monetary referral to residencies and advocacy organizations.
- Key Requirements: Encrypted online application form (completed in Arabic), a copy of passport/ID, short bio or detailed CV, up to three previous works or links, two recommendation letters with contact information, and an official host invitation if available.
