- Who Can Apply: Established professional artists worldwide in any discipline, including visual arts, film, design, writing and performance, with a recognized creative career and a record of public presentations. Academic affiliation is not required.
- The Focus: Pursue a self-generated creative project with interdisciplinary resonance during the first semester of 2028 at STIAS in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Specialized art studios are unavailable.
- The Funding: A monthly living stipend (amount unspecified), accommodation, economy return airfare, airport transfers, office facilities, weekday lunch and library access are provided. Fellows arrange their healthcare insurance and pay family travel costs.
