  • Who Can Apply: Non-profit artist initiatives, residency organisations, collectives and associations, plus independent curators and organisers. Artists living in The Hague need an updated Stroom registration; art students and projects involving them are excluded.
  • The Focus: Contemporary art programmes, exhibitions, presentations and international exchanges that promote Hague artists abroad or connect foreign artists with The Hague; start at least eight weeks after the application deadline.
  • The Funding: Up to €10,000 per application and €20,000 annually, excluding VAT, for a demonstrated deficit; requests above €5,000 need 30% third-party co-financing. Payment is 80% in advance and 20% after final reporting.
  • Key Requirements: Apply via Stroom’s portal with CVs/updated profiles, an 80-word summary, plan up to 2,500 words, mandatory model budget, 10–20 images (one per page) and numbered notes up to 30 words per image; optional video up to nine minutes. No website links; educational courses and post-academic residencies are ineligible.

No website links in documentation. Include the complete budget if part of a larger project. Hague artists must register with Stroom. Projects cannot start until eight weeks after the deadline.
