Studio 88 Artist Residency: Reviving Nature 2027 Open Call
Housing: Individual bungalow with equipped kitchenette; access to studio/workspace, utilities, Wi-Fi and on-site administrative support
- Who Can Apply: Emerging and established artists and creative practitioners worldwide, across visual arts, performance, music, writing, film, design, digital media and ecological practice; no environmental-art experience required.
- The Focus: Third edition of Reviving Nature, an international residency and festival on art, nature and community at Studio 88 in Doi Saket, Chiang Mai (4 January – 28 March 2027, stays of 3–8 weeks).
- The Funding: One sponsored artist receives a full waiver of the standard residency fee (individual bungalow, workspace, utilities and residency support); travel, food, visas, insurance and materials are not covered. Other selected artists pay the standard self-funded fee (52,000–100,000 THB for individual stays of 3–8 weeks).
- Key Requirements: Apply through the Google Form by 14 November 2026 with an artist biography, statement, portfolio, project proposal (maximum two pages), preferred residency dates and any technical requirements; tick the option to be considered for the sponsored place.

Application notesOnly one place is sponsored; all other selected artists pay the residency fee (50% non-refundable deposit on confirmation, balance one month before arrival). The call page also says 'submit your application by 31 October 2026' in one paragraph, but states that applications close on 14 November 2026.
