The Inlaks-Asia Art Archive Art Grant
- Who Can Apply: Indian citizens residing in India, born between 1 January 1991 and 1 January 2001; collectives are eligible if all members are Indian citizens in the same age band. Past Inlaks grantees (any Inlaks grant, award or residency) are not eligible.
- The Focus: One-year research-based art projects (1 January – 31 December 2027) that engage critically and imaginatively with the archive as concept, system and medium: archives from any field, artists' personal archives, libraries, databases, inventories, anthologies, timelines, maps and bibliographies.
- The Funding: Grant support up to INR 2,00,000 for the one-year project; completed work is not required at the end.
- Key Requirements: Google Form with applicant, referee and project details, plus one PDF or ZIP containing an artist statement (up to 1,000 words), a project proposal (up to 2,000 words: description, timeline, budget, archives/collections to access), a portfolio of three to five recent projects (audio/video via links) and a two-page CV (one per collective member). Shortlisted applicants are interviewed online in early December 2026.
