- Who Can Apply: Practicing artists 18 or older with a visible track record, plus informal groups/collectives, who reside in Chittenden, Addison, Franklin, or Grand Isle Counties, Vermont; degree-program students, formal organizations, BCA staff/board or panelists, and prior-year recipients are not eligible.
- The Focus: Experimental, public-facing visual-arts-rooted projects outside traditional institutional structures that include at least one public engagement.
- The Funding: Grants of $2,500–$7,500; total fund $60,000 for 10–15 projects.
- Key Requirements: Brief project summary (100 words); project description (500 words); project timeline and locations (200 words); intended audience, accessibility, and engagement/promotional plan (200 words); up to 5 work samples with descriptions and credits; project budget using the provided template.
