  • Who Can Apply: Visual artists with at least 1 year of professional practice and Netherlands/Caribbean Kingdom ties; Dutch nationals abroad may qualify. Students are excluded except part-time non-bachelor study under 20 hours/week, as are Kunstenaar Start recipients within 1 year or Basis within 4 years.
  • The Focus: Developing or deepening a visual-art practice through eligible equipment, courses, workshops, mentoring or outside expertise. Purchases of phones, tablets, computers and photo/video cameras are excluded.
  • The Funding: Up to €2,500, normally excluding VAT, once per 12 months; subsistence is capped at €150/day excluding VAT. The general FAQ requires 10% cash co-funding from the artist or others; a voucher exemption is not clarified.
  • Key Requirements: Apply via Mijn Fonds 4 months to 5 weeks before starting: summary (75 words/600 characters), CV (3 pages), plan (1 page), and one budget PDF with quotes/screenshots for items of €1,000 or more. Add collaborator confirmation and applicable residence, bank, sole-trader or VAT evidence.
