  • Who Can Apply: Artists and makers living and working in the Netherlands or Ukraine whose practice falls within digital culture and who are proficient in English.
  • The Focus: Three digital residency phases in 2027 to co-create a virtual Artist-in-Residence model and new digital work via the common.garden platform.
  • The Funding: €1,800 fee (excl. VAT) and €1,000 material budget (excl. VAT) per residency, plus expert talks, technical support, physical and online exhibitions, and an article.
  • Key Requirements: Apply in English with a motivation (max 1,000 words, stating preferred phase and first ideas), a CV (PDF, max 3 A4 pages), and a portfolio (PDF, max 10 A4 pages, max 20 MB) via the IZOLYATSIA platform.

Application notesApply in English by 15 November 2026, 23:59 CET on the IZOLYATSIA platform (platform.izolyatsia.org), filling in the required details and uploading: a motivation (max 1,000 words) covering your practice, artist statement or vision, first ideas and which phase you prefer; a CV (PDF, max 3 A4 pages) with full contact details; and a portfolio (PDF, max 10 A4 pages, max 20 MB) with title, year, medium and context for each work. All documents must be in English. Each phase pairs one Netherlands-based and one Ukraine-based artist for three months on common.garden. You must be available during the phase you choose.
