  • Who Can Apply: Early-career, LGBTQ+ identifying artists working in one of 27 specified US states are eligible to apply.
  • The Focus: Publish one artist’s book on the topic of book banning/burning in an edition of at least 100 copies
  • The Funding: $5,000 is awarded.
  • Key Requirements: The 2026 XENO PRIZE for Artists’ Books will be selected from submissions to an Open Call for Proposals issued March 1, 2026.
