One individual application per cycle (you may also be part of a separate collective application if the projects are distinct). You do not request an amount or choose an award level; panelists assign it. The form asks for: your name, optional public name, pronouns, phone, email, website; whether this is a collective (collective name, and members' names in no more than 100 characters, if so); how long you have been a metro Atlanta artist and your commitment to the community (150 words); county of residence; project title (300 characters); Project Idea (300 words; the word limit cannot be exceeded); how the project contributes to a cultural ecology of innovation in Atlanta (150 words); who your audience is and how you will reach them (150 words); the overall scope of your project budget and its major cost categories (no line items needed); Use of Funds (150 words); other funding sources applied for or secured. Uploads: Resume or CV (PDF, DOC or DOCX; one for an individual, up to three for a collective); a Work Sample Title Page (PDF, DOC or DOCX) listing for each sample its title, category, description, medium, size, duration or length, and year created; and Work Samples: at least four (4) samples, with up to 5 files allowed (documents, images, audio, video or PowerPoint formats). Time-based media: send clips under 2 minutes or give the timestamp of the 2 minutes to review. Awardees are asked to acknowledge Idea Capital, give an informal progress update after 6 to 9 months, and take part in the Idea Capital community.
