Application notesApplications are accepted online via Submittable. Applicants must provide an artist statement of 200 words or less, a C.V., and work samples. Work samples can be either eight .jpg images, or a combination of images and up to 3 minutes of time-based media, or up to 6 minutes of time-based media only (video art, animation, performance documentation). A two-round jury process is used: a panel of curators reviews all applications to select six finalists, who then receive 45-minute virtual studio visits with a second jury. From these visits, three awardees are chosen. Finalists not selected receive an honorarium.
