Application notesSubmit one entry per artist online; changes to entry details must be made in writing via email and no changes are allowed after artwork delivery. The artwork must be original, created for and first viewed at the 2027 Craigs Aspiring Art Prize, and must not have been previously exhibited publicly for sale, in any art competition, or for judging, including online and social media. Maximum size is 1200mm wide x 1200mm high including the frame; provide measurements in millimetres. Artworks must be professionally presented with D-rings and cord or wire, with no protruding nails or screws, and must be dry. Courier deliveries arrive Tuesday 5 January 2027, 10am–3pm, or 9–11 December 2026, 9am–3pm; hand-delivered works arrive Monday 4 January 2027, 10am–1pm, at Holy Family School, 152 Aubrey Road, Wanaka 9305. Use NZ Couriers or NZ Post, not Aramex. Unsold works must be collected Wednesday 13 January 2027, 10am–12pm; late storage is NZ$10 per day. Artists are responsible for transport and insurance.
