Golden Fleece Award
- Who Can Apply: Practising craft and visual artists at any career stage who live and work on the island of Ireland, or Irish-born artists working overseas; full-time students are not normally considered, and previous winners of the main Award cannot reapply.
- The Focus: Funding to help an artist advance a visual art, craft or applied art practice to a new level over a limited period (1–2 years), for artists who can show existing merit and a specific financial need.
- The Funding: In 2027 an award of €10,000 is made in each of two categories (Visual Art; Craft + Applied Art). No application fee.
- Key Requirements: Apply online via Submittable (free account) between 12 noon on Friday 16 October and 5pm on Friday 11 December 2026 with: a current CV; an artistic statement (max 250 words); a statement on why you are applying and how you would use the funding (max 300 words); an itemised budget (max 200 words); six JPEG images of work from the past two years (max 5 MB each); up to three video/audio links if relevant; names and contact details of two referees; and a JPEG image of your signature.

Submit a CV (PDF, DOC or DOCX), artistic statement (max 250 words), funding statement (max 300 words), itemised budget (max 200 words), six JPEG images under 5 MB each of work from the past two years, up to three video/audio links, two referees' contact details and a JPEG of your signature. Current Advisory Panel members should not be used as referees. One application per person per cycle. Applications in Irish are welcome. No application fee.
