Application notesApplications must be in English (guidelines also available in French and Spanish). The online form has a 50-minute time limit; at most three artworks per artist, one image per artwork. Not eligible: sculptures, 3D works, video, audio, AI-generated works, works that previously won a prize or were commercialized, and works not owned (including copyright) by the artist. First-round judging (early December 2026) uses submitted images only; finalists must verify disability status and ship works to Japan (January-February 2027, shipping organized and paid by the HERALBONY Office). Works must be available for loan January-August 2027; return shipping is covered, but artists may bear applicable import taxes.
