Alfonso Aramburu Terrades Painting and Sculpture Competition (II Certamen de Pintura y Escultura "Alfonso Aramburu Terrades") — Fundación Caja Rural del Sur
  • Who Can Apply: People born or resident in Andalusia who have not been awarded in previous editions of this competition; entries must be made personally, not through a representative.
  • The Focus: A juried painting and sculpture competition promoting artistic talent in Andalusia, followed by an exhibition of selected works.
  • The Funding: Each painting and sculpture category awards €10,000. Prizes are subject to tax withholding, winning works transfer to the foundation, and artists cover shipping.
  • Key Requirements: Submit online via the Mundoarti platform: one work image per category (JPG, max 5MB, faithful to the actual work), the work's title, technique, measurements and valuation, and the author's personal details including DNI (both sides) and a responsible residence declaration.

Application notesApply personally through the official Mundoarti call with at most one original, previously unawarded work per category. Upload a faithful JPG image of each work, maximum 5 MB, and enter title, technique, dimensions, valuation and personal details, including both sides of DNI. Andalusian residents upload a responsible residence declaration; those born in Andalusia who need not prove residence may upload a blank document. Selected paintings must not exceed 150 cm per side excluding frame/support; sculptures must not exceed 1 cubic metre. Deliver selected works in reusable packaging to Caja Rural del Sur, C/ Plus Ultra, 2, 21001 Huelva, at the notified time. Artists cover delivery and collection; winners must attend the ceremony unless a justified delegate is approved, and works must be collected within 15 days after the exhibition.
