Art Gallery of South Australia Ramsay Art Prize 2027
- Who Can Apply: Australian citizens or permanent residents living in Australia, aged 18 to under 40 on 11 December 2026; solo artists, duos and collectives may enter.
- The Focus: Contemporary art prize open to any medium or subject matter; finalists exhibited at the Art Gallery of South Australia and the winning work acquired into the collection.
- The Funding: Winning artist receives AUD $100,000; a People's Choice Prize of AUD $15,000 is decided by public vote.
- Key Requirements: Pay a $50 entry fee and submit artist details, optional gallery representation, work details, three 100-word statements, and 1–3 still images (300dpi, up to 10MB each); video/sound entries require an external YouTube, Vimeo, or Soundcloud link.

Application notesEnter via the online entry form (forms.sa.gov.au) linked from the AGSA page. Entries must be new or recent work completed after 11 December 2025, unique and non-editioned, and available for acquisition and for loan/display at AGSA February–October 2027. Use of AI in the work must be declared. Only one entry per solo, duo or collective. $50 (inc. GST) fee payable by Visa or Mastercard only. Partial entries can be saved. Video and sound files cannot be attached; provide a YouTube, Vimeo or Soundcloud link. A preview entry form PDF is available. Winner announced 6 May 2027; finalist exhibition 7 May–15 August 2027.
